John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses are expected to join the rest of the Super Eagles squad today as they prepare to play Tanzania in the Africa Cup of Nations tie in Uyo, Akwa Ibom on
September 3.
Moses has been in fine form at Chelsea, while Mikel buoyed by his performance with the U-23 team at the Rio 2016 Olympics is looking to provide more leadership for the team. Moses scored his first English Premiership
goal for Chelsea last weekend. He has been raking up good performances under his new coach Antonio Conte, unlike his former manager Jose Mourinho who thrice sent the Nigerian on loan. Moses who has two goals in his last two outings for Chelsea this season, will most likely arrive Nigeria alongside team captain
John Obi Mikel who is also set to arrive today. “After a great 3 points on Saturday now it is time for international week and I’m looking forward to seeing the lads
tomorrow” Moses posted on twitter.
