The mother of Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has ruled out the
possibility of her son returning to Manchester United in the future.
Ronaldo has regularly spoken of his fondness for the Red Devils ever
since leaving the club for the Bernabeu in a then-world record £80m
transfer in 2009.
The three-time Ballon d’Or winner, who spent six years playing at Old
Trafford, is constantly linked with a return to the Premier League
giants, but the player’s mother Dolores Aveiro has claimed that her
son’s future remains in Spain.
She said: “Cristiano is happy here, he would like to finish his career at Real Madrid.”
Ronaldo has scored 47 goals in 45 appearances for Madrid this season.
